My oldest in high school, he hasn’t seen anything crazy so I’m glad. His desk is in his bedroom so occasionally teacher will see us check in but we got clothes on lol. My oldest don’t see me naked anyway. That’s weird.

School was the only semblance of structure or order these kids had in their lives... if this doesn't get back to normal soon

Also goes to show why teachers should make more money.. like you got a single kid to take care of and you can't even attempt to create some sort of learning environment for that child.

There’s so much behind the scenes fukkery going on. My friends have all admitted their kids are very behind due to this remote schooling. They can’t monitor them and work at the same time, so it’s falling the wasteside. Kids are playing games on the computer instead of focusing on the lesson, they’re sleeping, eating and being distracting, having technology issues, and some kids haven’t even done school since the school year started. There are thousands of kids in Charlotte that have been unaccounted for, they just never showed up.
I thank God that my son’s dad is dealing with the headache of virtual schooling, so I don’t have to.

Education needs to be pushed harder in black communities

I definetely agree with you brother 100% but the education these kids are getting isn't exactly the best. I taught for 5 years from inner city to suburbs. Most of these kids can't name at least 5 states and capitals I'm serious. Then when black history comes can't name anyone other then MLK,Malcolm and Rosa. I remember clear as day there was an hindu kid getting picked on in class called Apu,nerd etc. This kid turned around and said "I'm Asian I'm suppose to be smart". We can push education,argue but at end of day we have to train OUR kids ourselves .
