immigration in general has become alot less organized.

back in the 1800's and early 1900's all potential immigrants needed to have a "sponsor" that was already a citizen. This sponsor would vouch for the potential immigrant and assist in integrating them into society by means of helping them get a job and set up.

now the burden of a sponsor is placed on local and federal gov't.

This is largely what I'm getting at. I'm one post he's supporting completely open borders like the one above.

Then another post he's saying only Afrikans should be allowed to migrate.

Then another he says legal immigration is okay.

Then blames H1B workers (legal) are problematic and Lower wages and take jobs.

Then you say immigration isn't a problem at all, illegal or otherwise, but instead it's low education for blacks. A view I might add, you call me a c00n for having that it turns out you have yourself.

Because he knows in his heart of hearts that "immigrants have 'bad culture' and don't vote Republican" is a bad argument. So he bolsters it with whatever economic point is easiest for him to make at the time.

That's not what the Reason articles says.
I would actually agree with this.

In fact, I would be the first person to support all governments all over the world allowing free and unimpeded travel of all citizens globally. . . Problem is no one is doing that. Immigration asbit stands is globally manipulated for corporate expedience and social engineering.

Don't get it twisted, this isn't the same as supporting illegal immigration. I would drop any opposition to Central American illegals coming over here IF their countries would allow us as Americans to do the same. I'd love it of I could LEGALLY just go to Mexico without any government checking for me.

But this thread is about immigration as a whole:

How does TWISM13 reconcile these views that are at odds with one another?

Shocking, a terrible poster gets twisted up in logical knots and inconsistencies :mjlol:

dude talks about poverty and low wages but would rather demonize and scapegoat a vulnerable population and subset of low wage workers instead of supporting things like raising the minimum wage and making it easier to unionize. nothing more than a shill for the ruling class :russell:

I would have to agree with OP @theworldismine13 seems a bit over the place with this topic.

In one instance you support legal immigration over illegal immigration

Then you say you support legal immigration if it doesn't include an influx of one particular nation/race

Then you suggest the only legal immigration black ppl should support is African and black Caribbean immigration which would fall in line with one nation/race of immigrants.

:mindblown:

Its like a large part of you doesn't want to be rationale about Mexican immigration but you TRY to be reasonable about immigration in general in order to come off as coherent.

In one instance you support legal immigration over illegal immigration

in one instance? :pachaha:

if there is one line that me an nap have said ad nauseum is that the issue is illegal immigration and that people should stop trying to mix up the 2 things

its ridiculous to say that is one instance when that is the foundation of the argument ive been making (legal immigration is different than illegal)
Then you say you support legal immigration if it doesn't include an influx of one particular nation/race

yes, immigration should be diverse

Then you suggest the only legal immigration black ppl should support is African and black Caribbean immigration which would fall in line with one nation/race of immigrants.

a lot of the pro illegal immigration arguments were based on race, a lot of people were arguing that black people should support illegal immigration or not care because the immigrants were not white

in response to that i said that if its put in racial terms black people should only support black immigrants

in other words there was a context behind the statement, it was not a point blank statement that there should only be black immigration,

Its like a large part of you doesn't want to be rationale about Mexican immigration but you TRY to be reasonable about immigration in general in order to come off as coherent.

my stance is very reasonable, a little immigration is a good, a lot of immigration is bad, america has to find the right balance. the first step in finding that balance is to stop illegal immigration and start deporting illegal immigrants

then the right level of legal immigration can be decided

This is largely what I'm getting at. I'm one post he's supporting completely open borders like the one above.

i was theorizing on the circumstances under which open borders make sense

Then another post he's saying only Afrikans should be allowed to migrate.

i said that if you want to make immigration a racial issues then black people should only support immigration from black countries

Then another he says legal immigration is okay.

immigration is necessary so yes immigration is ok

Then blames H1B workers (legal) are problematic and Lower wages and take jobs.

yes i said that the H1B program has been abused, and?

Then you say immigration isn't a problem at all, illegal or otherwise, but instead it's low education for blacks. A view I might add, you call me a c00n for having that it turns out you have yourself.

yea i said that immigration is not the fundamental reason for black people's economic position......and?

yes i said education is an issue......and?

what is the contradiction?
