One thing for sure, if you do your time and follow the rules, there's a 99.9% chance you don't have to worry about any disciplinary, true or false. You in there talking shyt to the people and threatening officers is the dumbest thing you could do, and your word alone isnt enough to find that COs falsifying reports on you...

You know how many inmates dispute their infractions by saying some shyt was falsified? Lol...

•getting visits is a privilege, not a prison right. You start bucking the system, they can take it from you outright or limit how often you receive them. I came down off solitary one time, where you could only get one visit every 6 months or something like that, to a restricted populated area where you had to have your visits behind glass, and had to earn contact visits over the course of two consecutive 3-month "rehab" programs without more than one minor infraction...

•I can't tell you how often mail was late or lost for myself and others. They inspect everything, they don't have to let you get any, and yes, sometimes in their filtering they delay getting your mail to you, it isnt uncommon to receive mail a few weeks to a month after your loved ones told you to expect mail from them...

Kodak is coming off as an emotionally weak, fragile nikka, and sounds like a bytch. He ain't tough enough for prison, and isnt mature enough yet to use the experience to grow himself into a better version of himself. It’s well known that if you fukk with the COs they’re gonna make your life inside hell. His status probably kept him from getting beat half to death. Most of these prisons are located in red neck cac hill billy strongholds, in the middle of nowhere.

Don't get me wrong I feel for the homie and jail is an especially cruel place for Black men BUT, all this could have been completely avoided on his end.

I hope he stays safe (as much as possible) while he's in there, but I hope this was a wake-up call to stay out of the streets.

Do what Jay and Yo Gotti did and support a lawsuit to help change the system, set up events with BOP and Justice Department reps and social justice programs, focus on restorative justice and first offender programs, donate to ACLU funds, there is a lot of work to be done, and obviously Kodak, at 22, coming of a wild ride of stardrom and drug addiction, is not ready for that. He may never will be.

A whiny self serving IG post isn't advocacy, as far as I can see, Kodak has only ever cared about Kodak. And maybe he can grow into a different person, I hope he does for his own sake, if no one else's. There are inmates who have been down for 23 years on a crack cocaine disparity sentencing, you are going home in three years, pull yourself together. Complaining about jail isn't the same as fighting the system.

We only have control over and can change ourselves, the prison system isnt going anywhere nor changing anytime soon.
