Who is “they”? I’ve literally never heard anyone say rap is a genre created by spicy cacs![]()
False. There are actually many books/articles out there saying that Ricans created breakdancing, which is false.

A lot of these guys are being disingenuous thinking Tariq made this an issue. I remember years ago on this board that Jamaican poster Lewis Black & others were running with this narrative that Caribbeans created hip hop. You & @TripleAgent laid the smack down with facts each time they all tried to do this & it was a major issue back then. And then what Busta said on Drink Champs made this whole issue blowup all around, not TariqFalse. 100% FACTS! When I first started posting on this board again (I was on the original SOHH in the early 2000s but then I retired) around 2012-2015, I saw numerous threads from Jamaicans on this board claiming HipHop came from their culture and that's why I had to rejoin the board and dead all that nonsense.
While Nuyoricans for the most part never claimed to have started HipHop, they like to claim they were there from the start (which is false) and sometimes claim they invented bboying (also false). FBAs were gonna let that claiming of bboying sh1t slide because we practically gave it away to them in the late 1970s but then Fat Joe had to start with that 50/50 talk
Busta talking reckless after the Fat Joe thing, is what REALLY reignited the whole conversation. Even though Fat Joe was spewing ducktales, he wasn't going full blown clown mode like what Busta said
.....so this caused FBAs in the media/social media to unload the receipts on Jamaicans and Ricans for talking recklessly. Tariq's docu is just a part of that same conversation
Says the guy who--....

Here is something for you to research.
Since you love researching.
Who stabbed Kool Herc?
Who stabbed him and made him give up the party scene?
The answer to that might lie somewhere in the fact that some of these folks were beefing as teens.
Still hold grudges.
Still have issues.

One of your biggest issues is that you think you can tell where a blk person comes from
A blk puerto rican born and bred in America will go about as ANY OTHER BLK PERSON
A blk caribbean person born and bred in America will go about as ANY OTHER BLK PERSON
So when you are so fukkin sure, as to the percentages of who were rican vs caribbean vs blk american vs born here and know nothing else etc
YOU AND TARIQ are viewing this situation from the perspective of a nationalist
The elders are not
As I said, I will leave it alone.
If yall dont care, I should not fuss myself.

Sir you support tariq tricking the elders in his xenophobia crusade
What else is there to discuss?
Did I not tell you since you like to research
Go find out who stabbed Kool Herc and retired him from the party scene?
Can you do that?
It might answer a lot of your questions

Put your account up
Or shut the fukk up

Make ne "shut up" punk!
Don't forget to ask @Billy Ocean, oops, I mean yourself, when are you going to use the other The Coli alias account?![]()
