People can run their business how they want, if they're successful

This. They have the freedom to charge whatever fees they like, set pretty much whatever customs and standards they can get away with, and we have the freedom to either play along or take our business elsewhere.

If u a customer opposed to tipping, or staff that feel a type a way about customers not tipping, instead of beefing with each other, which doesnt effect the owner's bottom line one bit, so why would they care? Instead stop giving them ur business if u a customer, and stop selling them and getting short changed for ur service if u are staff.

Its really as simple as that at the end of the day.

I went to a sports bar yesterday, these nikkas charged me a service fee, gratuity of 20%, a processing fee, and a non cash payment fee. So my 60 dollar tab was 90 bucks

Went bowling yesterday and ordered some food from the lane via a touchscreen. There was a mandatory $7 service fee, and the tipping options started at 18% which my wife opted to pay. The cost of the food was $70, but ballooned to over $100 when all was said and done

Yeah they're getting out of control to the point to where I rarely eat at or from any establishment these days. They're giving the same or less amount of low quality food and passing more and more costs on to the consumer. But them lines at drive-thrus are still long so ppl are still going so

I was going to make a thread on the shrinkflation with all these restaurants too. They're giving you a lot less food for higher prices, then slapping fees on top of that. 3 spots that were my go-to carry out places have probaby jacked up prices 2/3s, Only one of them gives you the same amount of food.

I used to be able to get carry out and know I'd have leftovers for 2-3 more meals.

Lol that’s not how a strike works. Some companies/stores are unionized while others aren’t. The ones aren’t, HAVE to continue to work.
