The frustration of Jones and other owners continued over issues big and small. Last year, TV ratings declined and anxiety mounted. Many owners concluded that former Pepsi executive Dawn Hudson, whom Goodell hired as the league's chief marketing officer, was providing analysis that was too optimistic. At an October 2016 league meeting in Houston, Hudson and Lockhart presented a slide that showed different variables measuring the popularity of the major sports leagues. At the top was the NFL. Various others, including Major League Soccer, were labeled "up-and-coming." At the bottom, under the category of "eroding," was the NBA, which had just signed a $24 billion TV deal with ESPN and TNT and was coming off its most watched Finals since 1998. "Do you buy this bulls--t?" one owner said to another.

:laff:

The NFL is done brehs. It's like the ancient Rome deluding themselves everything was fine and throwing scandalous parties while the army of Barbarians wait in front of the city gates ready to burn the whole bytch down.

NFL is dead :salute:

The NFL was trying to peddle that major league soccer was a bigger force for eyeballs than the NBA to its owners

Jerry was wronged and he demands retribution.......payment in blood :damn::damn::damn::damn::damn::damn::damn::damn::damn::damn:

And the NFL gonna make sure enough shyt leaks that they can Donald Sterling his ass out the league in return, if he pushes too hard. They're starting to tease it already:

Jerry Jones made a racially charged comment to a fan back in 2013, which is featured in a video obtained by The Blast.

The clip, which reportedly was shot at the Warwick Melrose Hotel in Dallas, captures the Cowboys owner offering a message to a bride-to-be named Jennifer.

“Jennifer, congratulations on the wedding,” Jones said. “Now you know he’s with a black girl tonight, don’t you?”

Jones, 75, walks away chuckling after the fan behind the device points the camera at an African-American male. Insiders told the online publication the fan in question is Caucasian.

I'm confused about the video. Is the guy filming Jones black? And his fiance is white?

He was making a joke that the white husband is cheating on the white wife with a black woman, inferring the black woman is lesser/used as a ho.

I don't think some of you realize how much pull Jerry has, and how out there Goodell is after alienating his own support base.
Never forget Goodell is an employee, not an owner.
Jerry Jones has oil, hospitality, and cowboy money

clue me in breh

Does Jerry have a cabal of owners who move in lockstep with him? His antics seem like it would piss off a lot of other owners.....who would have their own interests

Jerry has a group of owners , but Robert Kraft has a group of owners as well.
Goodell screwed over his friend Kraft and the owners in Robert's group, he just screwed over Jerry, who has atleast the Rams and Davis owners on his side, along with Snyder.

I think the only group Goodell might still have left is the Mara and the Rooneys

Jerry knows where a shytload of bodies are buried. The last thing anyone owning a team should want is for him to get spiteful, and for their own self interests they should remove goodell if he’s trying to antagonize jerry into doing something. This would be like trying to beef with jerry buss or the family that owns the Celtics. Testing the owner of a cornerstone franchise because you want more power and money when you worn for him is a bad idea generally.

You let Jerry play Commissioner on January 12th 2016 and now he wants your job forreal. I hope Goodell is fired and then I hope Jerry dies soon thereafter. The whole cartel corrupt and deserves to be out on their asses. Fukk 'em.

Jerry bout to pull a Casino on Goodell and Mara:merchant:

"Say Roger...I changed my mind man, meet my guys out in the fields in Ft. Worth...they'll have your paperwork for you:obama:Oh and...bring John with you:leostare:"

Such a classic, brutal scene. When they cut to his brother and the guy's chest is just drenched in blood :sadcam:

Getting buried alive next to your dead brother :scust:
