It's really about getting money. How can they be most profitable. The console war as you know it isn't profitable
And with computers getting so powerful, we at the point of evolution where we don't need consoles anymore.
It doesn't matter if any of us likes it or not, unless you stop the next generation from embracing it?
Then that's what its gonna be. And in that very near future? Sony is handicapped, cannot even begin to compete.
Sony has already joined forces with Microsoft and others just to basically licences their games to be streamed

The hosting stream is essentially the 'hardware" and Sony isn't even a player in that space
Gamepass is an app now just like youtube or any other app.
No need to pay $1000 for the PS6 when all you need is a controller to play Gamepass games anywhere.
When that works flawlessly, consoles become extinct. Nintendo online is already flawless from what I've played.

I agree with the first statement but I think the last part of it became infinitely more difficult the second crossplay became a thing and those black hole type games like Fortnite took over the world.

The Horizon series isn’t the same as regular Forza, which would be the GT competitor.

Horizon is more arcade like and is actually fun.
