MM , Think of how revolutionary a Macedonian phalnax would be if the first guy punched by the gorilla doesnt fly away into the shadow realm; but instead, that guy is supported by 4 rows of grown men that hold him in place. This forces the gorilla to waist time hitting him again.


And while the gorilla is focusing on punching the first guy, there would be a second phalnax of 20men behind him trying to restrict his legs and lift the gorilla up and toss him in the bushes.

Agreed. Humans have the best stamina of all mammals on the planet. We used to endurance hunt large herbivores and carnivores back when we lived on the savannahs. So yes the first 25 people might be massacred, but the gorilla is going to be winded soon.

And when it comes to gouging eyes, nature has looked out for animals. It's hard to get to an animals eyes. It's like usually they can stand them being raked at good. I guess cause other animals go for eyes too.
