when akinyele said "I be druggin them" it was a play on words. the previous line he spat.. "with an erection like injections, fukk it" you can interpret that several ways. Ross line you can only interpret one way.... date rape. ain't shyt sexy, cool, gangster, and definitely not hip hop about that. You didn't have mainstream rappers saying blatantly offensive shyt and not catch flack about it... I don't care what era you choose to revisit....

My point isn't even to endorse what Ross says.
I'm arguing that isn't entertainers that should be raising
children in the first place and I personally believe people
will do what they wanna do whether entertainers exist or not.
Rapists and Murderers existed before there was ever really
a popular music as we know it. Before Radio, Before Television,
Before Music labels, all of these things existed and I think it's
an issue society should address before we even begin to look
at art.
It's really easy to simply say "It's music !" without looking at anything
else that could cause a kid or an adult to act out. Especially when they
commit a violent crime.

And even then I think the emulation only goes so far.
They'll dress like the artists they personally like, maybe copy their
speech but for the most part they'll still conduct themselves like
normal members of society.
