There is a very nice couple who lives in my neighborhood. He owns a pretty successful business. He has a Rolls Royce and a very big home.
His wife has a nanny and housekeeping come twice a week. They have 1 son.
Not every man expects his wife to be the live in help.

There is something really fukked up in the human race that glorifies the concept of slavery ie I pay for you and then you are at my beck and call especially when it comes to things I find "degrading."
Also unfortunately because of the trama many AA have faced they see the ability to own someone as the pinnacle of masculinity or power. They do their best to imitate the ideals of white supremacy.
Unbalanced domestic labor is becoming one of the number one reasons for divorce. But many men still will not let go of the concept because that is the whole point of them getting married in the first place.
You think they don't have a nanny? Because he said she sucks snot doesn't mean they don't have paid help, she may want to be more hands on then your neighbor's wife. He was trying to complement her parenting skills and honestly what he said she does isn't exactly "supermom", changing diapers and cooking is nice but in his world when you have millionaire's wife who apparently leave everything up to the nanny, then that may look like a supermom to him. He works the long hours and pays all the bills and so she is fine with what she does for the family.
