Anywhere you work has cliques and/or some type of pseudo mafia. To assume that the same type of
cliquish brown nosing culture does not exist in entertainment would show a lack of insight and forethought. Just like there are hundreds of Dwayne Wades that didn't know the right coach or recruiter or dozens of Rondos who didn't have the right recruting connections, There are thousands who want to entertain who have the talent. Most of the big name entertainers out now are not that talented as some others. There's a memes out somewhere that says if hard work and perseverence was all it took then Mexican yard workers would be rich. You can call it what ever you want but most professions, jobs, and organizations have some type of clique with influence.
