I didn't listen to the interview, but the word "distributed" threw me for a loop. Is he saying his records weren't even in stores in Baltimore? That couldn't have been the case.
Everything was distributed here. His brand of hip hop is just hard to market out here becuz it really comes off as lifestyle music. Stuff that wasn't hard core always had trouble selling here

nikkas always loved Deathrow, Cube, CMW. We always bumped west coast shyt out here but just not him:heh:

@Marlo Barksdale whats crazy is all those areas mentioned are the burbs or close to it. But still hood than a mf. Big ass single family homes and big yards that black folks have owned since the 60s and 70s. Used to be all Jewish tho but they ran from us

The towns in MD close to D.C are ghetto as fukk. When did Bmore have gangs? I thought they had shyt like Lexington Terrace Crew and Cherry Hill Crew. Now everybody up there is BGF or Tree Top Piru

Summer of 8th grade I bought Balance and Options on compact disc :myman:
First tape I ever bought was Quik is the Name. I was 10 or 11.
My mom was going through my shyt and found the tape. She told me later that she read the song titles and as soon as she got to "Sweet Black p*ssy" the tape went straight to :trash:
