Maybe OP meant that your physical body dies but your consciousness gets transferred to the clone body so it is you just not the original you. Even still I'm good.
The main part about being me is the continuity of existence that I feel.

Im lowkey ready to delete myself anyway if i ever gotta ride the L train again, but that dont mean id actually do it. so thats a nah for me.So, teleportation is here. Actually its replication so the you that is standing here is Ctrl C, Ctrl V instantly to another location. In the process of the scan the first you, the real you, the current you is deleted. Killed in other words.
The second (or third, fourth etc..) you, the fake you, the new you is a pixel perfect copy of the one that jumped in the machine. So the you that steps out is a clone of the original. Early adopters get free lifetime use for themselves and a plus one but have to sign a waiver in case of unexpected side effects.
Would you use this tech?
No more waiting in queues, jetlag or the rest. You simply die and get instantly resurrected anywhere else on the planet. The process is painless. The edit invisible.
How do you feel about this? If no what prevents and if yes what do you think of the broader implications beyond convenience?
