Not all but a decent percentage but its dropping unfortunately. ALOT of coaches discourage it now and want these kids playing football year round. They try to get these kids to specialize wayyyy too early, then you have 7 on 7 and travel that comes with it which is usually during track season. ALOT of dudes used to also run track in college and you dont see that as much also. Its a dam shame too, those travel days track meets were some of best days, IYKYK.
My boy already got a son who went first round so he was entrenched in his training program working, when he had his second son going thru process in high school, ALL the coaches were discouraging him from letting his son run track. I can see how that affects others who dont realize the value in playing multiple sports. He stuck to his guns and his son would miss 7 on 7 tournaments but he made the ones he could, either way protocol worked again because his son in line to be drafted high in upcoming draft and first son already signed second contract. God is GOOD!
