I'm home just about every Friday night and I don't even watch it. That's movie night for me.
They need to go ahead & re-brand Smackdown and put it live on Wednesday nights

It's not even the fact that it's on Friday nights, it's the fact that NOTHING eventful ever happens there. I have no reason to care about Smackdown.
I haven't watched an episode in four years and have still been able to keep up with the company perfectly fine without missing anything significant. That's a problem. SmackDown is about as important as Main Event & Superstars nowadays.

Actually more eventful things happen on main event than smackdown
it's like a watered raw instead of a good show . They've had some great feuds on smackdown even recently with the whole orton /Christian run , orton /Henry , Henry / show/ Bryan , kane as big red justice , punk ses , hardy vs punk edge vs faces , Batista , taker etc I don't get why a publicly traded company losing money blatantly wastes assets like the secondary titles and smackdown . Give the Wyatt's smackdown and some mid card faces like swagger ziggler , rvd , kofi etc and form a new smackdown 6
The name Smackdown is played out now and has been for several years. The colors & layout are stale as we've discussed previously; "The Rock's show" needs an overhaul badly
Originally, I always felt the Friday logic was so that people can keep the storylines fresh in their minds, b/c Friday is like a middle point between each Monday. But the reality is, most ppl don't watch Smackdown anymore and only watch RAW. And on the week of a PPV in the past, I dont think anyone was waiting to see what happened on Smackdown to decide if they were going to order the PPV.
So I'm all for putting it live on Wednesdays. There's no football on, no other wrestling competition, people get the Tuesday night off so as not to get fatigue from back to back nights of wrestling. People will watch...and they will do so more than Friday nights.
