Ehhhh his last verse is literally breaking down how Aubrey and those of his ilk pander to the black community through attaching themselves to authentic black artists for the purpose of exploiting the culture for their own benefit without giving anything back. The song DEFINITELY has a sociological slant to it as did Kendrick’s entire strategy throughout the battle. His main goal was systemically break down the character of Drake and expose the man behind him, Aubrey Graham, as a colonizing vulture who infiltrated American Black culture to make himself rich and famous without having to enrich the culture in any way. The exclamation point that is Not Like Us is that Aubrey is another white man in a long history of white men who have pimped the black community and gotten away with zero consequences.
It’d be interesting to see all of Asian/White/Indian fans who blast the song at their weddings/Bar Mitzvahs/cookouts if they know that third verse or even dare to recite it.
