Kids not following instructions :francis:

They were told not to do what they’re doing. There’s police presence there. They still feel like doing what they wanna do. I get the other argument about letting the kids celebrate, but if you’re told not to do something by those in authority over you, then don’t do it.

I may be wrong, but I'm not, but I'm pretty sure there are multiple graduation parties and celebrations that occur after the actual ceremony. Dance to your heart is content there.

I shook the hands, grabbed my paper stepped down and pointed to a couple of my people's on the way back to my seat.

That night we partied and enjoyed ourselves. Now everybody perping for social media and act a fool. Sit ya lil ass down and get that shyt over with so you can eat some chicken spaghetti and buttered green beans

Congratulations c/o 2023 🎉

Let's play devil's advocate... We see black graduations all the time doing the absolute most. These events are timed and scheduled. All the dancing and attention seeking holds everything and everyone up... The school probably has to pay the venue for violating time limit (maybe).. but we see this shyt happening at damn near every other celebratory black event. We can celebrate without always overdoing it. I'm sure the cop is there cuz the school got tired of the bs
My younger sister goes to a fairly diverse Catholic girls HS. Graduated last week. Never seen such an orderly, respectful graduation. I’ve seen a family fight in the lot over a parking spot close to the entrance at my graduation.

Time and place for everything. They shouldn't have police and the celebration should be minimal. The issue is people who won't find middle ground. It's actually a bad start to life for someone who objectively will be seeking employment to not be able to follow basic instructions.

I LIVE IN A CARDBOARD BOX!
I’m glad my school wasn’t that anal about things like that. I remember at my graduation, I did the Macho Man taunt (they were playing “Pomp & Circumstance” which was Randy’s WWF theme) as I finished my walk which got a nice pop from my class. There were cops at my graduation (and my sister’s graduation a few years later) but at that point in time they weren’t there to stop anyone from enjoying themselves a bit.
