This offense hasn't resembled anything close to the motion offense we saw when we went to the ECF. Dennis is a selfish PG, Wop isn't a creator like Al was, WOAT gon WOAT. I wish we'd pass it more too but I realize we're not that type of team anymore. I know you don't like Melo but if we had the chance to get him I'd make the deal with no hesitation

i just keep reading these posts thinking this is a bad dream :mjcry:

Would you rather keep WOATmore or trade for Melo? I'm tired of being on the treadmill breh, being a 4 seed and not doing shyt in the playoffs. If getting Melo meant being a real threat to make a ECF I'm all in

I would rather do neither.

ATL…overly

Maybe I just got greedy seeing what the other pro teams in town are capable of. Falcons, collapse aside, are a championship team now and capable of winning a Super Bowl. Braves have young talent, a great farm system and are poised to be back in the postseason within a couple years at most. And I look at the Hawks like what is your plan? And I feel like the plan is to make the playoffs every year and win 45-50 every year. Are you satisfied with that? Maybe Melo isn't the best choice to come here but I want the Hawks to do something or at least appear to have a plan. I legit don't know what they want to do anymore and it's frustrating to watch

Why couldn't THJR & Dennis continue to blossom? :dwillhuh: You could incorporate Melo into this offense, get him his shots and still allow our guys to shine. It's not like the two concepts are mutually exclusive

I would rather do neither.

And I would prefer we do something instead of standing pat with a team incapable of making any real noise this postseason

i agree we're one piece away from being a contender, but i really don't see how melo would be that piece

and he would completely be detrimental to timmy and dennis' development...look at how many times he's frozen out KP during games and refused to pass to his teammates...shyt even when timmy was a knick melo was hampering his progress as a player

he just doesn't fit this team at all

i'd rather us try to find something in the offseason, or maybe make a power play before the deadline as long as we don't trade away anybody like sap or timmy...but we all know this franchise doesn't make power moves like that so we better off seeing what happens in the playoffs and trying our luck in the summer :francis:

We got almost 20 mill tied up into bazemore. Only way to move that is give up a pick or take back a shorter contract. It ain't about beating the Warriors, it's about keeping the guys we want without giving up our flexibility.

Stand pat and match Timmy and we are way over the cap with no options on improving

That's my biggest concern. THJ is looking like a legit star in the making. Basically, he's who Coach Bud thought Bazemore was gonna be when they gave him that contract.

WOATmore gonna WOATmore :francis:

I swear this dude has scored just 2 points multiple times this season. At this point, it's beyond embarrassing for a guy getting that much money to miss every shot he takes in a game like that. The fact that Prince played more minutes than him says a lot about Bud's confidence in Baze. He may finally be willing to admit Base aint the dude he thought he was.
