he does the dumbest fukkin fouls, puts up the dumbest shots, just doesn't give a fukk

Traded Teague a year too early. Dennis bball IQ is erratic as fukk

Baze is a energy guy off the bench who can occasionally get hot and hit for 18. Most nights he is gonna give you good defense and 6-8 points. No way he or Korver should be a full time starter in 2016. (and i dont wanna hear that bullshyt excuse about Korver and spacing) :comeon:

Teague wouldve been coming into the last year of his deal if he stayed, Dennis would've been a restricted FA after this season...the Hawks couldn't keep both guys when they knew they had trade value in Teague on the last yr of his deal (and got a lottery pick for him) and you go all in on Dennis. So no i think the Hawks made the right move, but Dennis is a young PG. You're going to have nights like we've seen where he's still trying to figure out when to get his points and when to get everyone else involved.

Baze...SMH. Hawks overpaid for an inconsistent, undersized SG/SF who has no feel for the game and can't shoot. He's like Josh Smith 2.0. He just doesn't make smart basketball decisions. I wonder how long before Bud benches him, he's been that bad

Korver shouldn't be starting tho I agree with you there, but because Dennis and Baze are struggling Bud isn't gonna bench a smart BBIQ guy like Korver even tho Korver really doesn't deserve starter minutes anymore

I never liked the Bazemore signing. I felt we should have moved on but he's not paid a lot

It's a tough call...the Hawks like Baze and have developed him, but he's literally the opposite of what Bud stresses offensively. I know Baze is pretty hard on himself too which isn't helping the situation, but he's really playing poorly. Bud gonna have to address it :francis:

MAN....you guys are so fatalistic every year. :snoop: :heh:

Let's just r-e-l-a-x. We'll be fine. I said earlier in the season, somewhere in this thread, that we'd have stretches of inconsistency. Schroe is still learning to run the squad, he's gonna be up and down. And even as trash as Bazemore has played, we know he CAN play better. Even then, if he can't, Bud can still adjust without the team falling apart.

Look at the positives: we're .500 on the road (4-4), but 8-3 in the conference. The losses to NY and Utah were ugly but we're still 6-4 over our last ten games. We've looked suspect in those games, yet were still 3rd overall in the East and still lead the Hornets by 1.5 games in the division. We're still first in the league in team defensive efficiency, and ranked in the top ten in many other defensive categories. This is indicative of TEAM EFFORT. So yeah, we're inconsistent but that's to be expected. But at least we're consistent where it counts...

Now....the Lakers have damn near ERE'BODY outta tomorrow night's game. So if we can't win THIS damn game, THEN I'd be a bit concerned. But after last night's pathetic effort, I fully expect these nikkas to play with, at the VERY least, extreme EFFORT against the Lakers. Also, I would think Dwight would wanna have a big game, considering the opponent.
