I’d say that’s a pretty big exaggeration. It’s a cool album, but he overall has such a good catalog, that this does feel like a bit of a letdown. It’s still better than that American Dream mess.
But…if you stay loyal and retain your Drake feature, the song should be better than “Mr. Recoup”. That song isn’t close to “Mr. Right Now” nor anything on ‘Her Loss’. Drake may really be done. His spirit sounds zapped away.

I listened to it last night and I was even more dissapointed in this than I was American Dream. The lazy flow has overstayed it's welcome and his lyrics are repetative as hell. The lyrics being repetitive is really noticible because he doesn't really switch flows much in the album. The first half of the album felt like the typical 21 "gang gang" "murder kill" shyt and the second half was a bit more introspective but because he's regressed lyrically so much, it just feels like he's telling the same story about his homies who passed over and over in the exact same way. I'm honestly dissapointed.
Code of Honor is probably the best song on here though. Herbo killed his verse.

I'm not trying to cloud your judgement, but I've been a 21 fan since the Free Guwap EP. It's a frustraitng experience to me to say the least. But check it out and judge for yourself. At the very least, I always give his albums a few listens. I'll be listening to it again today.
