This should be talked about more. 21 always sucked but he had a good 2 to 3 album run. There’s no way people thought he was going to have a long career though lol. Again these producers should’ve got more than the rappers for carrying. Imagine 21’s raps over boring production

Yeah we're going to have to have that convo about ATL overall and how a lot of folks fell off post that YSL trial and distancing themselves from Gunna. But also these producers need waaaay more credit for some of these artists success because the beats have been carrying them lol

I’d say that’s a pretty big exaggeration. It’s a cool album, but he overall has such a good catalog, that this does feel like a bit of a letdown. It’s still better than that American Dream mess.

But…if you stay loyal and retain your Drake feature, the song should be better than “Mr. Recoup”. That song isn’t close to “Mr. Right Now” nor anything on ‘Her Loss’. Drake may really be done. His spirit sounds zapped away.

I keep saying there's a reason ICEMAN still hasn't dropped yet. There's not a trendy wave in hip hop to ride at the moment and he can't decide which version of Drake he wants to be. So he's just throwing songs out to see what the general consensus is. Which hasn't been too receptive lol

Exactly. And his fanbase has said stuff like talking about needing Drake to “save hip hop”, but Drake ain’t disappeared, he’s dropped a hard drive dump worth of music all throughout the beef. It’s just that the majority of it has sucked, to the point where even his fanbase hasn’t supported it like they claim.

“Big Stepper” and “Atlanta Tears” are some standout tracks on this album. “Atlanta Tears” in particular, that’s the best I’ve heard Lil’ Baby in like 5 years.
