Crazy thing is they TRY to emulate EVERYTHING the "old" people have done and created.

When I was coming up I swear we did not sit around looking at our OGs like they were "old"

In your ERA the OGs were probably aware of their age and their responsibilities to a community.


Hence the reasoning for this to not be occurring back then.

Look at this thread; you have a whole bunch of men in denial that they're middle aged claiming they're young throwing shots at people generations beneath them.

I was graduating high school before the kids in the OP were even born.

I remember when I too was calling anyone over about 35 old.

Let these kids live, don’t worry life will eventually catch up with them too and some kid will be calling them old in 15-20 years. Funny how life works.

i was born in 99 and feel old mentally. even physically ive started to see wrinkles but i think its because ive been wearing a durag more lately.

my mom was in her early 30s when she had me and i used to look at her as a proper adult then.

now i am the parent to my mother almost physically and mentally.
