If he had a employee ID, security relaxes a little . It's usually contractors that they make go through a bunch of stuff. I use to contract with the govt. Been to the pentagon, NSA , The navy yard. I would have to go through a 5 - 10 minute search at these places, while employees would drive right in. Now this was about 7 years ago, so maybe somebody here who works for the Govt could better fill us in.
