Yea you go through tires quick but you usually just befriend a used tire dealer in your area. You can also go out when the road is wet and it will help preserve the tires.

TPain is a huge drift enthusiasts and has multiple drift cars

Dope. This isn't in Tokyo though.

It's most likely in Gunma (a rural prefecture in the center of Japan) which is about 2-2:30 hours northwest of Tokyo.

Gunma is the main setting for the manga & anime Initial D and where drifting in Japan became popular. Touge (drifting) runs were popular in the '80s & '90s but the police have cracked down in recent times, so there's much less than before.
