He’s an idiot, but there is more to the story. What looks bad on his part is them not speaking for 3 months after the call and saying he’s heard ESPN is exploring the veracity of her victim story. He also did it while he was on the company dime in Florida, further sealing his fate. There’s not a doubt in my mind he was trying to cross that line with her, and he didn’t know how to read the room.

What looks bad on her part is accepting personal gifts from him, deleting of her text messages and waiting to make a complaint 8 months after the incident, coincidentally after MSU canceled one of her speaking bags.

She didn’t feel victimized enough to not cancel that appearance herself after the incident apparently

I don’t doubt he spread the word to slow up her business, which could’ve also motivated her to play up the story.

He’s getting shyt canned regardless of the Title IX investigation though and that money is gone. She won’t be able to get anymore big time university speaking bags, but she won’t need them after this.
