@CrimsonTider what do u think of the state of R&B nowadays?
The girls absolutely loved them nikkas.

The thing is I still liked a some of their later shyt likei know right?
they started looking half-gay by the 2nd album tho, and started making alot of cheesy stuff too. by the 3rd album, they were played. you can tell chris stokes learned from his mistakes and handled B2K a bit differently, but they didnt have the talent outside of being better dancers.
What artists would they muster up tho? Trey Chris and who else? TGT? the same nikkas that was popping when I was in grade school? The Biebs? There literally needs to be a large, news-worthy tragedy/epidemic before these 'artists' today would do a song like that![]()

lol. i just realized that TLC sharked immature. the beat & video for "no scrubs" is a bit too similar to that "stay the night" joint.
lets keep it 100 tho, "give up the ghost" was basically bizzy bone's video. nikka had 3 verses and co-directed the video.
but they kept some gems all the way to the end. remember "my first time"?![]()
Never noticed that shyt. You're absolutely right, great observation bruh because I've never peeped that shyt and it's been like 15 years.

Both of those videos seemed so futuristic at the time. I always peeped Shar Jackson in that vid tho. And the chick to Alexis right was that bish that was on Ray-J's show claiming to be his god sister I think her name was "Lil B"shieet, i havnt seen that video since it was out. i just remember alexis fields dime ass all up in the video. didnt even notice niecee.
but yea, that TLC chit jumped out at me just now. they owe immature some royalties.

They had to put an end to it. After that performance they probably had Billy Ray Cyrus or Meatloaf come after that and it became obvious they had to slow the culture down. Whites control the labels, no way you can tell me they didn't plan to run the music off a cliff because if they didn't they wouldn't sign the trash they put out now.the second video is just way too much Black excellence, I always watch everything twice, once for entertainment, and the second time for analysis. Pay attention to the audience and put yourself into their shoes witnessing the excellence of 40 extremely talented Black artists basically showing off just how good they are.

Tevin Campbell was a way better vocalist than Dino was. Have you ever heard Tevin live bruh? It wasn't even close
