Not the OG ones.

If it's a comic that came out recently then it's still bullshyt. They have a newer MCU comic line that basically serves as a storyboard for whatever weird shyt they wanna try in the films just so they can say "technically it's canon".
Technically they wouldn’t be wrong. Comics always go through reboots. Everything is canon once it hits the comics. If the MCU is based off the comics, then that’s as good a loophole to shoehorn whatever you want into the comics so it could make the film. As long as the original hands(the ones who are living) are ok with the shoehorning. None of the OG comics match any of the storylines of the MCU. If we went with OG pre-MCU comic canon, then ALL the marvel movies dating back to Iron Man 1 or even the first XMen in 2000 would look a lot different then what we’ve been presented with. Okoye being changed into an LGBTQ character isn’t any less canon then many other movie vs comic changes they’ve made in the last 15+ yrs. :yeshrug:

All the blacks have to be gay in the MCU that way they are not sexual threats to the white cast lol
I expect Patriot and maybe Miles will be bisexual whenever they debut

Be dumb marvel.
You already dc'd yourself by killing both of your franchise main characters.
In cap and ironman when it was no need to.
Of Which you never do in a comic book setting.
Plus and by proxy. Since you miscast tchaka.
Plus did not setup tchala correctly.
When it should have been denzel's son in the first place.
Now you basically caught in a dc kills supes and breaks batman's back situation. Hoping you gon play catchup to lose.

Luckily dc not smart enough.
to try a wildstorm film universe since they have jim lee.
So marvel and this bicepless can possibly fix this.
If not.
We better hope spidey is always dope.
As marvel did nuffin but follow the same pitfalls of doom dc made.
Plus followed the same steps that ruined marvel previously as well. With too much cosmic shyt. Without a grassroot ground to stabilize this cosmic foray.

Okoye is not gay in the comics....the leak may have her confused with Ayo who is gay.

Didn't read the thread, but are yall actually interested in another Black Panther film?? My interest in waKaNda died long before Chadwick (rip). And without him this film is doomed to fail anyways.

Realistically it just means they doing the same virtue signaling in the comics as they're doing on film.
None of these characters were gay when they were first introduced. I don't mind gay characters but..
I find it suspicious that they are exclusively using black people to represent queerdom.
in fact, i bet the first gay white character we see in the MCU will still be in a relationship with a black person.

Hollywood diversity strategy 101.
If you want to show interracial relationships , show a white guy smashing a woman of another race to make it more palatable to white audiences. Self hating people with aspirations of being future whites actually prefer it this way.
If you want to represent multiple races in your film, have them be women, so you can also check off the gender diversity box at the same time.
If you want to represent other sexualities, have the gay character be non white so can check off multiple racial diversity boxes at the same time.
if you are forced to center a film around a strong hetero black male lead, include at least one white male protagonist for the white audience to identify with.
