I don't see this movie doing as well as the first financially.
It will open big because of Chadwick (they're gonna use his passing to partly market the movie to get people to come opening week), but it will drop off.
It will first be "Why didn't Black Panther 2 do as well as the first movie when it should have? Was it because it was a movie about Black Women?" then it will become "Black Men didn't want to support Black women/black girl magic/Black Female Black Panther"

black panther still attracts people that aren't even into the mcu. all of those people are coming back to watch this
I personally think the reception will be mixed and it would force people to see it for themselves.
then there's the Latino market that will see it just because the Atlantans are of Spanish descent(fast and furious support)

This is true, but ultimately this a movie about side characters who have only been 1-2 films in minor roles.
Black Panther the man was always the draw. They gonna find out the hard way when revenue takes a hit. And of course Black Men will be blamed.
I agree it was trash and a Disney okie doke with Black Panther.
I aint ever seen a superhero action flick where the supposed main character intentionally wasn't made the star of the movie or given the best scene in the movie.
But of course they had to neutralize the "good Black Man" intellectually, physically and dominantly. Meanwhile the Black man in the movie who had that is made out to be "the bad black man/villain"
