Emergency lefty meeting happening as we speak after this tweet  @FAH1223

Ok. Now she is fuucking up.

Tulsi please get her educated on this subject.

This is why I'm Indy, because just when you think a candidate has great platforms is standing up to bullshiit they go and say shiit that just leaves :dwillhuh:.

She still cool for standing up to lobbying influence, but she's off the mark on this one.

You want Tulsi....educating people on Assad.

Tulsi. :snoop:

What do you think Omar said in there which Tulsi could "educate" her on at all? :francis:

I'll let you go educate yourself on this one.

Breh, I was writing essays on Assad half a decade ago. You either misunderstood what Omar said or you badly misunderstand who Assad is. I'm all for Tulsi's "don't get into wars" stance but the way she's moved on Syria has looked kinda suspect. So play your hand.

I can't help yall man.
I know you're an intelligent guy as so many other posters are that I disagree with, but I also know that many of you immerse yourself in MsM media news and publications and websites and think they can never be wrong or outright lying to you about anything ever.

No point in arguing. You're going to believe one way no matter what info I show you, because you have made up your mind to put full 100% trust in a particular brand of information providers.

It's cool.

You haven't even stated what your objection with her stance is, or your own position. :why:

Spotting Bad Faith Arguments (Or: @the cac mamba's Playbook)

Number 10: Coming to a thread with the attitude (stated or implied) that you will be attacked by the mean forum goers is toxic to productive discussion. It is also a pretty common trolling tactic

FWIW, if you had gone ahead and said something incorrect along a certain line, I probably would have responded with some statements from Prof. Peter Neumann and a report from the Carnegie Middle East Center. Does that count as "MSM media news" which I supposedly immerse myself in? Is there a dark web alternative I should be shooting for instead? I can think of one country that puts out a lot of Assad news that goes against the consensus narrative - you ain't gonna point me in that direction, are you? :pachaha:

If you don't talk to other world leaders the chance for war is just that much more likely.
It's funny, when Obama said he would meet with less than savory foreign leaders without preconditions to differentiate from Clinton in the 2004 primary if was met with positivity. Tulsi has the same stance and people beat her over the head with it.

This isn't about whether whether Tulsi's decision to meet with Assad was right or wrong. We weren't even talking about Tulsi, we were talking about Ilhan Omar.

@newworldafro said that Tulsi should get Ilhan educated on the subject of Assad. After Tulsi came back from that meeting with Assad, all I heard from her was a bunch of juelzing, where she expressed skepticism that Assad used nuclear weapons, suggested that his interests could be in line with ours, and repeatedly avoided answering direct questions and refusing to "point fingers".

So I'm trying to figure out what specific point about Assad that @newworldafro thinks Tulsi needs to educate Ilhan on. Because I didn't see anything wrong with what Ilhan said, yet I've heard a lot from Tulsi that suggests to me that she doesn't have a very clear-headed perspective on the man himself.
