I liked Juno and I never suspected her of being lesbian. She's so cute!

And of course the out-the-closet moment conveniently hits when the realization hits that her once bright star now wears a flat-top. And that's not to say she really isn't a dyke, I'm sure she genuinely is, but the announcement of it was definitely career kick-start & PR driven, IMO.
If it was about making an impact and all that jazz, she would have came out after Juno when she was riding her highest crest of stardom. That would have taken courage since it would have had some sort of effect on her future career from the start but she waits until her fame is almost done, and declares it at a youth rally (if that doesn't scream PR machine I don't know what does). The media needs to save all that narrative for the riders on the short bus.
Anne Hevhe, Vanessa Carlton, Sandra Berhnard, the list goes on and on with these chicks who declare their counterculture sexuality once they realize they're on minute 14 out of 15.

I know that. My point is regardless of where their true sexual orientation lies, once that career and fame begins to look like
