I'm convinced most of you don't watch these games. He's a great defensive coach, no more, no less. Elite? Hell no.

No it's because I watch the games. Dude got a Derrick Roseless team to the EC semifinals and had them competing. I don't think he lost the lockerroom he lost the ownership. You act like great defensive coaches grow on trees or something. I mean you could get another assistant to help with offensive schemes. It happens all the time. In fact, I would be looking at the FO kinda funny if anything.

they shouldnt even have jobs

I remember the last game of the regular season last year. Thibs played the starters huge minutes in a OT game that didn't matter. They ended up tired against the Wiz for first couple games in the playoffs.

I read a long article about this and Thibs really ran his players into the ground. One day Noah said to him after a grueling workout "If we weren't winning I would really hate you".

Thibs responded "I feel the same way about you".

Except every team in the league has copy Thibs defense at this point, and it aint some special formula like it used to be.

Bolded #1 is just flat out wrong. :heh:

Also, as for bolded #2, Thibs refused to hire a lead offensive assistant.

Good coach but he can only be successful with certain teams and a particular style...Bulls saw it play out for 5 seasons with no real playoff success and a losing record in the post season...add in that im sure key players on the team wanted him gone :manny:

Guys like him really do have a 4 year shelf life. Larry Brown, Hubie Brown, Harbough, etc.

You have to have a good relationship with your coworkers, people.
