Not really.

All cities will have the well off and ratchet types.
Plus there is a BIG difference between Haitian & Haitian American women.

I can only speak from the NYC perspective. Alot of Haitians in NYC have ties to back in Haiti. Alot are 1st generation or came from Haiti when they were 10 yrs old

You’ll find Haitians down there with similar values but yea you are right the ones down there are more caught up in a lifestyle.


When I went down there some Argentinian chick was talking shyt to my face about Haitians. I told her I’m Haitian you know and she told me “You’re not a Miami Haitian”

Their definitely there mainly on the SW and West side, but outside of AAs you’ll find a lot of Africans and Afro Latinos Colombians and South Americans in general are deep in Houston mainly on the SW/West side.

So as you can tell the West Side is the place to be in Houston, SW side is hood and gang infested But a lot of baddies (fukk with at your own risk some of them have gang ties)

The West Side Suburbs are a mixed bag yeah it’s diverse you could live in a neighborhood and have a Cuban family on your left, a viet family on your right, a Nigerian family across the street etc

(This is actually the set up where my mom stay in cypress)

But Katy/Cypress is also c00n central.
