thats not true. We have summer here and it can get humid. Not Texas heat but hot enough.
DMV the lack of Black business ownership. For the income level and amount of Black people the business ownership is very weak.

Life long contruction with no real changes.

The city is ugly. I've travelled a bit and Houston has no natural landscape. Just flat.
Also just the overall aesthetic of the housing. It all looks the same. Just boring brick houses.

Identity crisis. wants to be a small town & big metropois at the same time
too much petty crime (I always have to have a gun on me even in the burbs where I live)

Agree with you on most of them. Can't speak on job opportunities for black people. But the cost of living is definitely high and won't be surprised if it goes higher.

I'm in NC at the moment, one thing I don't like about it is everything closes at 9pm on the weekdays.
on Sundays most stores close at 6pm
You can't even get a piece of pizza at 3 in the morning.
Go to Cookout if you hungry.
Shyt the cookouts in my area were the spot one time but last time I went....food wasn't all that.
