Thing is you're from Atlanta....none of the soul food spots out there really did it for me at the price points they were asking. At least in Queens/Bk/LES, you getting way more variety in the kinds of eateries. If I were you, I'd hit up the Orchard and Ludlow area off Rivington downtown....got a nice mix of Caribbean/Asian/European places and a lot of eye candy if you didn't bring your jawn.
Lol yeah i dont like eating soul food ifnim traveling because 8 times out of 10 i had better at home.

I assume i should be good sticking to walking and subways or is uber more efficient? I havent been to NYC since 2010 and uber wasnt around then so idk.

Well i'd walk/subway if you're just gonna stay uptown and uber if going downtown.
