Everything is touristy this time of year unless you want to do shyt like go run/hike Runyon Canyon or go to lesser areas. Beaches will be packed, theme parks, museums, etc.

You didn't even tell us the kinds of shyt you like to do or like to eat breh, give us something to give you suggestions for its a big fukking area with a lot of diversity.

that isn’t touristy. Will be there for four days during July 4th weekend. I’m looking at trip advisor and everything looks like a tourist trap.

Places to eat also

I honestly can't think of shyt an out-of-towner should do/see that isn't touristy. So this would translate to doing shyt you do for fun/leisure in your own hometown, but in LA. Since that will eliminate things like Hollywood Blvd, the beach, amusement parks, etc.

You didn't tell us what you like to do/eat, or what part of town you'll be at so I'm just going to throw some stuff out there aimlessly

Restaurants:

McDonalds
Chipotle

Sit-down:
IHOP
Mel's Diner
Denny's

Fancy:
Numerous restaurants on Restaurant Row in Beverly Hills (La Cienega Blvd)
Restaurants along the Golden Triangle

Mid-range:

Kabuki (Japanese)
Mall food courts at Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza

Non-tourisity things to do:
Go for a drive
Play basketball or chill out at local rec parks (depends on where you're staying)
Grocery shopping (if your hotel has a fridge)
Go see a movie (depends on where you're staying)
Go hiking in the Santa Monica Mountains
Go for a walk
Go to bars or nightclubs (stay away from Hollywood Blvd as it's touristy. Instead go to a random part of town in a working class area)

Well you would have to give folks a lot more insight into what your interests are

Outdoorsy stuff? Fitness, yoga? Basketball? Hiking? bicycle tours? etc

Food? Sushi, steak? tacos? vegan? Mexican? wine and draft beers?

Broads? Let the locals tell you where the best hunting grounds are
