He said it referring to gay sex/violating inmates in prison.

When they pressed him about liking to touch little boys, he was copping pleas about being into women/p*ssy.
Chris said, but aint no p*ssy in (jail)

Thats when he says the line you mentioned.

Chris got triggered, likely having been violated in prison by a predator.
Chris got triggered because he was molested himself as a child.

Stepdad says that line and Chris says "I do" and beats him. I took that as him understanding what he means when he says "a man's gotta bust a nut, y'know?" is he knows what a child abuser looks like because suffered at the hands of one.

It's why when Michael pointed out the stepdad to Chris/snoop, Snoop was questioning why he wanted him dead but Chris could look at Michael and understand what was going on.

Also it confirms that the stepdad is willing to fukk w/e is around, so all that "i like p*ssy" shyt is out the window when he said he fukked dudes in jail.

I'm going through season 4 right now. There's so many things that failed Randy.

1. Lil Kevin unloyal bytch ass getting Randy involved in the first place. It made no sense to tell Randy what happened afterwards. It weighed on his conscience the entire season.

The actor who played Randy did an amazing job with non verbal communication. Throughout season 4 whenever Marlo crew was mentioned or Peez moved desk assignments, something that was out of the ordinary who had a terrified worrisome face on some was my name mentioned.

2. The Herc situation. Herc doesn't get permission to use a camera to get info on Marlo. It gets stolen. From the video who wrongfully detains the Jamaican lady who files a complaint. Now he's in shyt with Leuitenant Marimow.

Carver tries to help him and mentions Randy knowing about Lex.

Carver calls homicide for Bunk. But the other detective is so mad at Bunk for interfering in the Omar situation (Chris killing the delivery lady to frame Omar) that he doesn't tell Bunk

3. Herc stupid ass relaying to Lil Chris during the interrogation that he talked to Randy.

4. Marlo kills Lil Kevin and puts the word out that Randy is a snitch.

The 2nd is the most important cuz if Bunk and Lester talk to Randy everything that followed afterwards could have been avoided

:laff:

Funny thing here, the actual face the dude made is funnier than the Dame face.

When dude starts walking away and looks back at the two of them. Decades of jokes off that.

Not sure if its a goof/editing error, but when Bodie stares at the guys in the lockup dorm, pay attention to the 2nd and 4th faces.

As he makes his way out of the building, seconds later, those 2 guys are mysteriously locked in the cells that he passes and stares into.

You'll notice that in a few scenes. The one that makes me laugh is the bunk/mcnulty scene where bunk is burning his clothes in the bathroom. The door opens and closes 4 different times without anyone ever touching it.

Most people will snitch if you put enough pressure on them. Don't let the tough talk fool you. Thats how most crimes are solved. And he wasn't involved in the crime or even in the streets so he couldn't be a snitch anyway.
He was telling about shyt nobody even asked or knew about :comeon:

Every other 13 year old knew what to do except him…..

Even the 8-11 year olds knew better. Randy should’ve kept his fuccking mouth shut like everybody told him to :camby:

Would the Wire (or any acclaimed show) have the same impact if it were released all at once instead of weekly like a lot of shows now?

The same impact? No. I cant think of many shows that release all at once that still get critical acclaim. Maybe The Bear? Most the bingewatch release shyt seems to come and go when they drop.

Idk. The Wire was different. Iirc it never got the appreciation in real time when it aired like Sopranos, Breaking Bad, etc.

I didn’t first see it until like 2014-16
