Chris got triggered because he was molested himself as a child.

Stepdad says that line and Chris says "I do" and beats him. I took that as him understanding what he means when he says "a man's gotta bust a nut, y'know?" is he knows what a child abuser looks like because suffered at the hands of one.

It's why when Michael pointed out the stepdad to Chris/snoop, Snoop was questioning why he wanted him dead but Chris could look at Michael and understand what was going on.

Also it confirms that the stepdad is willing to fukk w/e is around, so all that "i like p*ssy" shyt is out the window when he said he fukked dudes in jail.

Chris was definitely molested and never got revenge on the people who did it. It was the only time in the show he didnt follow his usual procedure when it came to killing people. And thats why he got locked up.

Good show recommendations? I got a bunch, but depends on what you like.

TLDR: Slow Horses, Banshee, Gomorrah, Counterpoint, Expanse.

Tied for top of my list would be Banshee, you should watch this before any of your other backlog imo. shyt is a good fun show, lot of fukkery and some of the best fight scenes you will ever see on TV, shyt may be better than some movies. Stars Anthony Starr(Homelander from The Boys). He fresh outta jail and trying to track down an hold partner who has some diamonds. fukkery happens as soon as he enters the town when the sheriff gets killed and Starr assumes his identity because he trying to get to the diamonds. Also stars Frankie Faizon(Burrell from The Wire) This in the first episode:

I dont really remember any boring episodes in the show.

Counterpoint is a great spy thriller show. It has sci fi elements, but not on no goofy alien type shyt. It stars JK Simmons.

Foundation (apple tv series) and The Expanse for pure scifi. Both these shows are more slow burn political intrigue type shows like a GoT. Foundation still has at least one more season to go.

Shows based on reality:
Slow Horses - This one of the best tv shows currently airing, tied with Banshee for top of my list. Great writing, great characters, and it's a quick watch. Gary Oldman is head of a group of cast off spy fukkups. They get into a lot of fukkery but they are still good agents and they work to uncover a lot of shyt. Only 6 episodes a season, with 5 seasons so far. Each season is sorta self contained and based on some books, so running out of material isnt a problem.

If you dont mind subs, Gomorrah - Legit one of the best tv shows ever. It's about a mob family in italy and the fukkery involved in that with trying to amass power and stay on top. Great writing and character development.

Halt and Catch Fire - If you like alternate reality shows, you'll like this. It sorta chronicles the advancement of technology through the decades. Covers things like the first personal computer, creation of the internet, chatrooms etc. It does it from the pov of characters who had a large role in making the shyt happen but shyt didnt work out and got the idea stolen or companies like Google etc beat them to the punch. If you dont care about computer stuff at all, would probably be boring, but it has great writing.

Justified - If you dont mind cop shows, this is good. Great writing with Timmy Olyphant(a us marshall) and Walton Goggins going against each other. Some people find the first slow, but it picks up after that. They have some great characters.
