he means nobody was on the animw tip like they are today. i remember the mid 90s when that shyt started really pickin up over here with sailor moon, dragon ball, pokemon, ronin warriors, etc. i think when akira came out over here that got alot of video stores to start an anime section.

Uhh..I was on an anime tip when they used to show robot circus, Lens man, vampire hunter D, and Project Ako on the Sci Fi Channel back in the early 90s when the Sci Fi channel first began...also people have been on anime..we have Japan video in SF that used to rent anime..not no damn anime section in a video store,.a real anime store that used to rent VHS and then DVDs and now they sell them instead of renting..cats been on anime for years..lets not talk about how long Japan been on anime..that's another story..

I used to love messing around with Mac computers cuz they had some of the old ones in my school, before they became the streamlined status symbols they were today.
Certain comics I knew about before everybody started referencing them, like Deadpool,
I would borrow manga and graphic novels when I was younger from the library. Now, every other boy I tutor, and some girls, have the new Naruto/Bleach/etc. issue in their bookbag!

I grew up playing it because it was a pretty good way for some of my uncles and in-laws to develop their vocabulary (they weren't born in the States) and I'd join in if they didn't have 4 players.
Was lame for it in the early 90s.
Then Words With Friends came out.
But I guess it went back to being lame again. I'm the only one of my friends with that app now.
But some of them are a cheat....
