Who wrote it tho?

Cant stand the fact that snoop gets accused of not writin songs when his shyt is tight, yeah there are some songs here & there on his later albums where he credited co-writers but the reality is that he's one of the few dudes who actually keep it 100 about something pretty much every rapper does.
I bet there are tons of songs from like every other rapper in the industry where some of the crew mates in the studio gave them a couple bars to finish a verse or something like that but they choose not to credit them for it. Co-writers on songs are common as fukk, you think all those dudes hangin around the studio never releasin anything are just there for nuthin ?
I BET if all those credits in the booklets would be correct all the time dudes would be like

a lot of times..
Also a co-writing credit can come from pretty much ANYTHING, from givin a rough idea for a song topic, to a line, to a verse. Something that also always causes senseless discussions is when dudes all of a sudden are claiming that they actually wrote song xy for rapper x on twitter or some shyt like that. Like that fukkin discussion bout Games album being entirely written by 50 that pops up in pretty much every Game/50 thread when the stans go at each other
But @topic: He talked bout the song in an interview where he told a story bout him ridin in the car with his kids and his oldest son didnt have snoop in his top rappers list because he told him somethin like "you make cool songs but you aint really spittin". To proof him wrong snoop went to the studio and recorded this shyt. He also said he didnt write it down and freestyled most of it.
Always makes me think that snoop should freestyle songs more often he did classics like Gz & Hustlaz & Tha Shiznit this way. He also freestyled "Get A Light" from Blue Carpet which is also a dope song btw

. There are surely some more joints where he did this, recently I realized that his verse on "Gangsta Ride" on top dogg also sounds kinda like a freestyle but who knows...
