Saw this tonight, I'ma Kevin Hart fan, and I was one who loved 'About Last Night', which really was a career peak for Hart, this is much more of step down. It's kind of wasted energy to articulately review a movie where such little effort was put, I'd bet they all had a great time filming this, but the audience, won't have as much fun watching it. Most of it is wasted potential and gags and routines from other better and worse movies, we don't need two competing bachelor parties to end in a strip club fight scene do we? The script is mostly cliche or absurd, the humor rests mostly with Hart, who fumbles enough that it drags the entire thing to a halt at times.
Not enough edgy or boundary pushing jokes or laughs, and none of the sincere if cliched moments from the first, 'Think Like a Man' is not groundbreaking but it was genuine and good hearted, and at times hilarious. This is tired and worn, loose and careless, with at least one jarring product placement ads and the characters don't retain their personalities much from the first, caricatures and walking punchlines. A lot of wasted opportunity for laughs, some cameos that go nowhere. kevin Hart with a butler in Vegas sounds funny, but it isn't Kevin Hart playing blackjack sounds funny, but falls flat. Kevin Hart is like Vince Vaughn, eventually no matter how bad everything around him gets, hell make you laugh. And he does. A handful of times. None of it is objectionable, just mindless and inoffensive it it's blandness. A waste of a good concept and great looking cast. Of course all the women were stunning and gorgeous. Too soft and not enough risk taking with the humor, this is barely worth seeing. The first is a flawless comedy drama compared to this.
