You don’t think for me, I think for me. Its something wrong with your ol I think I’m the smartest person in the room face ass. You better go reread my mothafukking post if you need some clarity. I’ve always told y’all nikkas I don’t respect or entertain 99% of people on here. Y’all nikkas scary and docile. I never took a nikka like you serious.
This isn't about being "scary and docile", this is about seeing the frame
behind the frame. You're still looking at the picture as if it's two-dimensional.
Now, dig:
- Kyrie's not standing for issues that affect the Black community (in this context)
- he's standing for conspiracy theories ("
I'm a big conspiracy theorist. You can't tell me anything." - his own words)
- these conspiracies theories are typically created and propagated by the Right and white supremacists (flat Earth, anti-vax, Alex Jones rhetoric, and antisemitism)
- this takes our issues out of focus, and brings other groups' issues into focus. We become puppets, unable to stand on our own stage, controlling our own [Black] narrative.
This is why it's counterproductive to stand besides Kyrie in any way shape or form, because you're giving his position more power, which means you're giving white supremacy more power. If Kyrie wants to die on that sword, you let him; don't encourage him, don't enable him, and don't think you have any racial obligation to him.
He does not represent you; he only represents himself.
If you come to his defense, you only make him a martyr for a cause that doesn't affect us - it only helps the enemy - it only fuels the engine of our antagonist in life.
If you read this and still can't see the play here, well, there's no hope for you.
