All I can say is research (ask people you know or even randoms about their experiences) and have a plan for what you want to accomplish while in the NAVY if it's not going to be lifetime, from what I learned from my pops/friends, you at least want to get some skills you can use outside of the military if you're not going to go the post college route. IMO

Well since you have a degree getting in shouldn't be that difficult I don't think.
meps is where you go to take the real asvab... And it's usually a lil easier than the practice test if I remember correctly.
What your score? And your score doesn't matter as much what you scored high in

And if you're not a good swimmer, then for God sake don't join the Navy. It's the only branch that REQUIRES you to know how to swim.
And there were dudes as old as 32 joining when I went through boot. I was 22/23 myself. As long as you can run your mile/half or 2 miles and do about 60 push-ups/sit-ups you can still join.
That wait usually isn't 2 years neither. I was gone in 6 months. They'll call you up at any minute to go (and you still don't have to go necessarily).
