Thinking about getting EZ Pass for tolls. Thoughts?

People have gotten auto tickets in the mail from ez pass. Others have been complaining about being tracked even tho they were not on the interstate and finally they have been getting caught taking money out of people's accounts with out permission. I'd rather deal with the people at the tolls.

I dont like the tracking of my whereabouts via EZ Pass plus the cameras that take pics

do it...I dragged my feet on it for the longest time...until AAA sent me a notice talking about they are providing free transponders if I go to a branch and sign up for an account..there was a branch that was closer to where I lived than the ezpass office..so I went in there..signed up..gave them my credit card info..and I was good to travel with it after a week...shyt is lovely..no more fishing for quarters for me

I just got an EZ Pass the other day. Been driving for like 8 years before I got one. I finally got tire of paying the cash and the lines in it.

ours is i-pass here, but it I have used it in NYC and it works fine.

only thing is ya'll tolls out east are OUTRAGEOUS. we don't have many toll roads out here, and I rarely ever use the ones we got, but our tolls are only 75 cents each.

I have had I-Pass since 2000 cuz my first job outta college was right next door to the illinois tollway HQ.

Are there toll booths where you guys live? We don't have any toll booths that I know of here. Think 2012 was when they got rid of them. Or last year. Lol at you thinking that's the only way they track your whereabouts

there are people out there who dont have ez-pass in 2014? it cost me $27.50 to get from brooklyn to philly, of course i have an ez pass (plus its a cheaper rate on NYC bridges with an EZ PASS than cash)
