Thinking about giving up gaming to...

Develop a second source of income which would be along the lines of coding or making apps...I just can’t do it and play games at the same time...I want to allocate all my time to learning more about coding...what y’all think? Good idea or nah

Good idea. Go make your money/maximize your earning potential. The games aren’t going anywhere and once you’ve established yourself you can always go back and play them. Added benefit of not having to wait for release dates, and being able to buy complete editions with all the content.

I already have a bachelors in it so I already kno lil something about coding

If gaming is your hobby and something you use to help with stress I don’t suggest you kill it all together. Find some lowkey casual games that interest you or mobile games. Never destroy your hobby and stress reliever for money.
