I was just about to make this thread

I plan on getting a Fender Strat. I just need a hobbie...something to release stress with and put my mind to after work . It's gonna be a crucial thing for me, so Ima make sure I stay with it.'

Everytime I hear Soundgarden or the Smashing Pumpkins I cant help but feel I should be playing myself.

I've been playing guitar on and off since 8th grade. I can't play for shyt, but I can muddle through some Jimi Hendrix, Weezer, and Prince songs. I bought a nice little tube amp last weekend. Once I'm finished studying for the first level of the CFA, I'm gonna learn my pentatonic scale extensions and blaze through that fretboard like

I'm guessing he found the chords somewhere for the original songs (there are sites where you can purchase music sheets for songs).....He might have transposed them to another key. Added a little of his own flare I'm sure. It's fun to play the guitar and learn. There's just so much that can be done with it.

For the guitar google search "guitar tabs" and you can look through the sites you find.
Ultimate Guitar is one site that has songs people have tried to give you an idea of how to play songs. They give you the fingering and sometimes the chords to go along with them.

You can pay to have unlimited practice time, if you're a free user they will cut your session short after a few exercises.

I've been playing guitar for 12 years, def one of my biggest hobbies.

It's pretty straightforward, but it requires more practice than say piano. You need a lot of hand control and a decent memory, if you want to be good you gotta know what fret is which

Breh. I couldnt get barre chords to save my life at first and then I did. I just had to keep practicing until my fingers started being able to form the shapes properly. Just keep trying and one day soon you'll pick your guitar up and be like .

Guitar But if you expect to to be easy you will be sadly mistaken. Find some beginner lessons online or some easy chord progressions. I'm going to take lessons to sharpen up my skills this winter and learn more jazz and blues music.
