best job to ever have in college

thats what i did

flexible schedule can give up and pick of shifts whenever u want (or have set schedule)

aint nothing like working fri/sat making 300-500 cash and leaving with it the same night

no more being broke for 2 weeks, if u need $$ theres always someone willing to give up their shift and go home on the spot

only downside is you have to work weekends and may miss out on parties and such

but if u bartend in a club like i did, them hoes come to u

Oh god, working the 11:30pm-7:30 am shift at my 24 hour store with no security and only 3 people on staff.

In the hood, breh. Alcohol sells till 2am here and you can be damn sure that after 1am mothafukkas were roaming
the aisles getting booze and god knows what else. If someone wanted to rob the joint, all they had to do was hit at 3am. Nobody would be around to
do a damn thing. It sucked, especially on a friday or saturday when the 2am sell time went by and you have to explain
to a group of weeded up or drunk guys that "No, I can't make an exception, the register won't let me."

"You should be a manager" I was told because I was always coming up with solutions and shyt.

You KNOW you are on your shyt when you have a manager trying to calm a crying lady down and you, as a regular ass
team member, manage to calm her down and still make a sale. No commission. fukk that, I have the gift of gab, but now
I wanna sit my ass in an office chair and do menial work while making bank, saving, and drawing up shyt for my business.

I don't do a damn thing above my pay-grade anymore. No more bending over for free.

like i mentioned earlier, try the restaurant hustle its basically retail but with commission. i did that for 6 yrs lived by myself, car paid for and paid cash each semester...very little student loans from undergrad

and the good thing is the better you run your mouth the more you make

just don't start at no hood ass applebees or chain restaurants, thats where the customer bytching is unbearable find out where them hipster crakkas go and stack up...they tip better than anyone

If I had a whip atm, I would do that. I wouldn't mind it being a second job down the line, but I did the restaurant thing for a spell and it was a lot of work, and some nights didn't pay off.
