What are you looking for in a city OP?
Not much. I've lived in Cali, Hawaii and now Alaska. I just wanna experience something different. Texas is about the only State in the south I'd consider living in. I think if I do move to Texas, I'm only gonna be there for a couple of years.

The country of myself
I lived in san antonio for 7 yrs from 18 to 25
Imma tell you like this..... san antonio is boring as fukk soon as I graduated I moved to houston and never looked back. Its a big city with a small town mentality. The people from there try to act like so much is going on around the city but there's not. All my friends from college either moved outta San Antonio or their only sticking around because they have a decent paying job. The women are't even all that to be honest. Too many bad built fat mexicans and the fine ass ones are usually taken, single mothers, or not about shyt. If you like white girls trust me go to austin I'm from austin and you'll see some bad ass ones out there. If you like a variety and a melting pot then come to houston or dallas. Some times I can't even fathom:ohlawd: how so many fine ass women live in houston.
Rent is cheaper than the other major cities in texas but I think San Antonio is the place you raise a family.

My suggestion to you is the move to the other Main Cities Houston, Austin, or Dallas.

Don't believe everything you hear about houston there are tons of beautiful areas and extremely nice suburbs on the outskirts if you're truly that scary.
There's always something going on in houston always and Im not even talk about the night life such as clubs and bars. Im talking about cultural festivals and such

If you're really betting on Texas then I'd vouch for Austin as it seems to be the most capable down there. Word here is it's full of hipsters which is trash and annoying but they've had a forward mentality for a while.

I personally wouldn't move to the south. :scusthov: Try meeting in the middle of your triangle and living in Seattle. Bigger city than most of Tejas, more comfy weather, and nature is right outside. It's on an upswing atm too. Next to blow.

Austin is pretty pseudo liberal... I can explain that if you need me to.

I'm in San Antonio now and you see a lot of people our age moving here and a budding food scene and some stuff for younger folks. Still behind cities such as Austin or Houston tbh

I'm a bit annoyed with San Antonio as of late. Mexican nationals in HEB who don't know the concept of personal space, stupid heat, white worshipping hispanics, lack of four seasons and lack of diversity is getting to me. The redeeming factor is cost of living is low and you can stretch your money here. It's treated me well but I feel some people secretly want to leave here to somewhere else.

I would say great for a family though for a single man it can be socially daunting to find a place to fit in

Austin being a liberal bastion doesn't mean it's the best place for blacks. Also it's overcrowded and full of people from California

Yeah, fukk that. I'm going to Disney World for my Christmas vacation and Imma see how Orlando is like. Still plan on staying in Alaska for another two years to finish my undergrad.

But if Orlando moves me, that's where I'll prolly head.
