Thinking about Relocating to Raleigh/Cary NC

I would say to take a drive through the area. Honestly I don't troop through there like that, unless I'm coming from TW Alexander and I cross through Brier Creek to get to where my mother stays at. I could be mistaken as far as how many brothas be in the area, but sadly I don't think I am.

I went to school in the 919 (2008-12) and for some reason I got an itch to head back up there. Atlanta is home, and cool, but I felt real relaxed being in Durham. Hell, if the money was right i'd stay in Morrisville, I remember seeing some nice houses when I would pick/drop folks up over there. I'ma stay tuned to this thread tho. Must be a sign...

I lived in Brier Creek for a couple of years and I'm still around the area a lot, it's not that many Black people there, but there is more than you probably think there is. Still not a considerable amount though.

Raleigh is an overgrown college town. There isn't much in the way of the arts and independent music, etc. A few concerts here and there but the main attraction to the area are the Universities. Traffic is horrible, especially if you have to go anywhere before 9 AM and after 6 PM. As far as entertainment there are a few things here and there but the main things are restaurants. I'd honestly advise against it and move closer to Atlanta. I'm currently working on getting OUT of NC but good luck if you come down here.

I was in Fayetteville which is like an hour from Raleigh , never again will I go back there just to get to the store , it's a 20 min drive . Plus all the rednecks and hillbillies , saw a bunch of trump stickers everywhere . Just an uncomfortable experience all around

Raleigh OTOH is considered one of the best cities to live in.

not just being from out of town but being from a city more lit than Raleigh makes them bytches wanna know you 1st...its like they wanna be the first to say they fukked with you or they fukked with a nikka from LA/NY/CHI/ etc

and being known by other brehs, bytches that other people know in the city will get you in by default...
