Kinda worried bout my credit though....ion have any![]()
Building credit from nothing aint easy breh. There's no way to go around the "time" factor.
I had to learn that paying this off fast, buying this outright, and overpaying monthly statements actually isn't a good idea for credit.
You have to show that for 24 months straight, you can make payments on time. The problem is getting a loan or a service that requires 24 months of payment.
Outside of a car, house or student loans, most things wont help you build credit like that.
I overpaid my car note by about 1.6k extra a month because I was raised to buy things outright and if you cant, pay them off asap.
I soon figured out that this is actually a bad idea if you are trying to build credit.
My advice to you if you have financial restraint... get a credit card if you don't have one.
Use it to pay for every single thing, and about 5 or so days before the payment is due on it, just pay it off with your account.
Don't do like me and pay it off same day.

You cannot build credit without having debt, its impossible. America is a land based on debt sadly.
