Can’t move with me in this digital space
Last year I started a thread in the gym to document my weight loss. I stuck to it for a whole year. There was like a three month gap where I had personal struggles but I came back to it and will be wrapping up the first year next month. I started 2015 weighing 278lbs. Got myself down to 215 right now. I'm still going down but that's for another thread.
I got an idea of doing another thread in here or a different sub forum about self improvement.
I want to give myself 10 different things to do every week for a year straight and see how much my life improves if I stick to it. My goal would be to develop a program that I could use for other purposes. I don't even know if 10 is a good number. Too hard? Too easy?
So far I have
1.5 hours a week learning to code
2.read 2 books a month(I like reading but am a slow reader
)
3.Exercise at least 7 hours a week
4.Cook a new food once a week
5.Go to a place you've never been to once a month(obviously to little but it has to be somewhere cool so you'd have to plan it)
6.watch 3 hrs of videos a week relating to starting a business, how to manage a business, leadership, or self improvement.
7.Put away 20 dollars every other week(at the end of the year you get the money as a prize). If you don't have a job replace this one with fill out 3 applications a day till you start getting some money.
8.An overall project for the year would be to try and invent something. Maybe spend a few hours a week towards the idea and than getting it off the ground. By the end you'll at least be familiar with what it takes to get an invention off the ground. Bad part would probably be it'd cost money.
Damn that's all I have for now. I want to get this started next month so I have the rest of this month to plan things. Post ideas if you have any. I'm mostly interested in things that I can do to increase my money but other stuff is ok. Also if anyone want's to get in on this and try and stick to it for a year that'd be cool.
